Halogen

Incandescent
Incandescent may well be the oldest type of lighting fixture. They are, however, built to only last a relatively short period of time and with the introduction of fluorescent lights and other types of lights, they are not considered to be as efficient as they were back then. They are still frequently these days because of the low costs and they are still widely available anywhere in the world.
